Face Fight
Allows two people to participate in drawing the outline of their faces/ drawing on top of their faces.
I found this interesting since it involves two people improving their communication skills.

In reference to my theme, so far i have been able to modify shapes with the various face expressions by using faceOsc and quartz composer.
Turning these shape modifications into an interactive game could turn into one mini project.

Form inspiration

Theme for the ouput object for thesis project
Did some research on how the mathematical models were derived and found out that these forms are found in nature in the form of the skeleton of a protozoa.


Radiolaria
The Radiolaria, also called Radiozoa, are protozoa of (diameter 0.1–0.2 mm) that produce intricate mineral skeletons, typically with a central capsule dividing the cell into the inner and outer portions of endoplasm and ectoplasm. They are found as zooplankton throughout the ocean, and their skeletal remains make up a large part of the cover of the ocean floor as siliceous ooze. Due to their rapid turn-over of species, they represent an important diagnostic fossil found from the Cambrian onwards. Some common radiolarian fossils include Actinomma, Heliosphaera and Hexadoridium.



Artist inspiration

Ernst Haeckel – philosopher, professor, physician, naturalist, biologist and artist. The pinnacle of his work – Art Forms of Nature - began publication in 1899 and is still an astonishing record of life on earth. When art and science combine, something sublime can come to pass.
